Stuart has spent 17 years at Alcon in roles with increasing degrees of responsibility. He has completed assignments across the entire marketing organization including the pharmaceutical, consumer and surgical divisions. He has managed eye care and therapeutic areas such as contact lens care, dry eye, anti-infectives and glaucoma. In 2003, he was promoted to Vice President of pharmaceutical marketing. Stuart was charged with managing the cataract sales and marketing organizations in 2004 and received a promotion to Vice President and General Manager of Cataract Surgical in 2006. In April 2009, he was promoted to Vice President, U.S. Surgical and Consumer Products. In January 2010, was promoted to Area President US – VP, Global Marketing. Stuart received a degree in marketing from the University of Texas and completed the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 2004.
